Project: Detail Engineering Survey, Soil Investigation, Design, Cost Estimate and Preparation of Detailed Project Report of Right Abutment Foundation of Bahubali Jharna (Thade Khola Bridge)
Client: Department of Roads
Year: 2025
Status: Completed
GEOINFRA was responsible for carrying out the engineering survey, geotechnical investigation, design, and DPR preparation for the right abutment foundation of the Thade Khola Bridge. The key scope of work included:
- Conducting a detailed desk study, reviewing previous design reports, topographic maps, geological information, and hydrological data.
- Organizing a comprehensive site observation by a multidisciplinary team comprising bridge engineer, geotechnical engineer, and hydrologist.
- Identifying site-specific conditions such as surface geology, bedrock profile, hydrological characteristics, and flow behavior.
- Assessing the suitability of the proposed foundation level through initial engineering evaluations.
- Preparing rough sketches, sections, and field notes to support foundation design considerations.
- Developing a complete Detailed Project Report (DPR) with site-based design recommendations, layout, and cost estimation for foundation works.
